Obituary of Robert Clevenger

Robert Clevenger, 78, The Villages, FL, formerly of Kokomo, Indiana, went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 1, 2017. Born February 21, 1938 to Paul Edward Clevenger and Mary Louise (Herron) Clevenger of Sharpsville, Indiana. Robert married Judith Ann McCullough on October 21, 1961 in Tipton, Indiana.

Robert is survived by his wife Judith; sons: Robert A. Clevenger (Stephanie) of Prattville, Alabama and Christopher L. Clevenger (Jennifer) of Birmingham, Alabama; grandchildren: Meghan (Blaine) Cockrell, Jordin (Brandon) King of Prattville and PFC Tessa Clevenger of Monterey, California; Christopher J. Clevenger and Hannah Clevenger of Ellenton, Florida; great grandsons Gram Cockrell and Tuff King; brothers-in-law Ray G. (Margie) McCullough, Michael (Brenda) McCullough; sister-in-law Deborah McCullough; step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Robert is a member of New Covenant United Methodist Church, The Villages, Florida. Robert belonged to Masonic Lodge (Center) Scottish Rite Indpls. Valley, Murat Shrine, Villages Shrine Club, Hi-Twelve. His passion was being a Shrine Clown (Clevy). He enjoyed making children smile. He received a Meritorious Service Award from Scottish Rite.

He worked at Schwitzer in Indianapolis as Computer Specialist for 28 years.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in The Villages and Prattville, Alabama. Inurnment will be at the Columbarium at New Covenant United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Shriners Childrens Hospital Or United Methodist Childrens Home.
