Obituary of Cheri Davis McDougall

Cheri Ann Davis McDougall was born on December 13, 1963 in Kenosha, Wisconsin to Mary Elizabeth Pulley Davis and William T. Davis. She received her education in Texas, Angelina College and the University of South Carolina and was employed in secretarial positions and administrative positions. She taught 4th grade in Georgia and Florida. Her great love in life was traveling and seeing the world. She loved music, played the violin and proudly served our Country in the United States Air Force. She passed from this earth to her heavenly home on February 8, 2017 at home in Lady Lake Florida. She is survived by her husband Gary McDougall Son James William Hardegree, daughter Katie Hardegree, stepdaughter Natalie Bennett/Jamie; Stepson Mike McDougall / Erica; four grandchildren: Carleigh, Colton, Carson Hardegree, Aurora Bennett, Wyatt McDougall. Also by her parents William and Mary Davis, two sisters Paula Shadrix /Stan of Maysville, Georgia, Amy Martin/ Louis of Arlington, Virginia; three nephews: Wayne And Weston Flournoy, Louis (Joey) Martin; nieces Wendi and Wynter Flournoy, Gabrielle Wright, Lauren and Scarlett Martin all whom adored Aunt Cheri, along with a host of cousins and friends. She is much loved and will be missed greatly by all who loved her. There will be a celebration of life for Cheri on February 18, 2017 at Village View Community Church, 8585 SE 147th Place, Summerfield, FL 34491 at 11:00a.m. We thank the Hospice of Marion County for their tender loving care. Memorial Donations in Cheri’s name may be made to Hospice of Marion County.
